During a three-month internship at ATREM S.A. I was able to gain knowledge related to the gas industry and corrosion protection as well as learned skills related to operation of software within the sector. I learned new techniques of spatial data processing and how to publish it on the network using GIS software. I have been involved in certain projects which helped me to understand how the client-contractor relationship works. I learned what is SCRUM methodology and how to utilize it during an IT product production. What is most important, I learned how to work in a team and that teamwork is essential. During the internship, I had support from my experienced colleagues who were eager to assist and advise. I consider the time spent here as a valuable theory and practice lesson conducted in a friendly environment.
